| Abi Lane's Bernie Mac human he meets and does very well with children and other dogs. Bernie is the complete package. First he is an excellent companion and family style of dog. Witch is what the breed is intended to be. History has taught us that The American Staffordshire Terrier was developed for companionship OVER drive. A more manageable companion compared to the APBT. Hence the APBT was developed FOR drive and heart. Bernie in my opinion is the TRUE definition of what an American Staffordshire terrier temperament should be. Rock solid with the children and to my surprise most of the time, he is very dog friendly. Not to mention he is kind of lazy at home and I like it! Because Bernie is a big boy, we have to do our best to uphold the American Staffordshire Terrier standard. Female must be health tested as well.
